12-1-19 Tovar SW Wisconsin: Latest forecast update on precip/temps through tomorrow morning.V.

Good Sunday evening!

A current look at temps:

A look at simulated radar as we progress throughout the rest of the evening and overnight hours- now through 7 AM CT. We think that there can be a few light, lake enhanced snow showers right along our southern lakeshore counties as we go into the overnight hours. We are not expecting accumulation from this given the light, scattered nature as well as a strong N wind :

Simulated temps during that same time. Temperatures across the entire area will be below freezing, the greatest chances to see widespread refreeze risks on untreated surfaces look to come from Madison north to Stevens Point. Areas south and along the lake such as Janesville/Milwaukee/ Kenosha will be closer to 30 degrees so we will likely see isolated slick spots on untreated surfaces rather than a widespread refreeze. :

Favored snowfall totals- there look to be a few very light lake enhanced snow showers along the lakeshore (Sheboygan to Milwaukee to Kenosha). We are favoring snow falling to be light and less than an inch, any accumulation looking to come on grassy surfaces:

Winds overnight- we think that stronger normal winds with this low pressure system overnight will be an aid to drying any wet pavement. Winds will be coming from the N at 5-15 MPH:
