Good Friday morning everyone! We have snow scatted snow lingering in Eastern Minnesota this morning with temperatures in the Western Dakotas dropping below zero this morning:
We will likely see additional development of snow showers and squalls especially in the outlined area in E. MN this afternoon. Here’s a look at the simulated radar through 6PM this evening:
A couple of heavier bursts could produce a quick 0.5-1″ of snowfall, but some will miss out completely or only see a dusting:
The next wave of snow moves in overnight tonight and persist throughout the day tomorrow in North Dakota pushing into Minnesota and lighter snow continuing into Saturday night. Accumulations of 1-3″ will be widespread with perhaps a heavier area with 2-5″ in NE North Dakota:
