11-7-17 Tuesday LaPorte District Forecast:
Synopsis: Waking up to chilly temps in the lower 30s in clouds this morning, overall we will see a mix of sun and clouds today while remaining cooler. In today’s video we mention frost risks increasing on Wednesday morning, but the bigger story is the possibility for lake effect snow early Friday morning (can’t rule out accumulations of a couple inches at this time). We see another system working east this weekend Saturday night into Sunday morning, can’t rule out a few slick spots as we will have temps starting out around freezing initially before warming up throughout the day. If you have any questions please let us know, have a blessed day! -Kirk
Today’s video (time):
Eyeing lake effect snow potential Friday morning (~2-8am) across the LaPorte District with a cold north wind over the warm Lake Michigan waters…it’ll likely be a narrow band only spanning a few counties, we will need to fine-tune exactly when and where as we go forward this week.
