11-30-17 La Porte & Ft. Wayne District Forecast

Synopsis: Good Thursday morning!  Seeing some light showers moving into the area this morning, and we will continue to see scattered showers into late morning, especially across the Fort Wayne district.  Clouds clear out with mostly sunny skies this afternoon, and highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s.  Widespread, heavy frost is looking likely Friday morning as high pressure settles in.  Great weather continues throughout the weekend.  Low pressure system early next week brings widespread showers and storms late Monday into Tuesday, with rainfall totals of 0.5″-0.75″ possible.  This will be followed by colder temperatures that continue to build in mid to late week.  We cannot rule out some system snow, along with the possibility for lake-effect.  Still uncertainty in wind direction/fetch which will be crucial for where lake-effect sets-up.  Definitely a forecast to stay tuned to!  Have a great day, and let us know if you have any questions!
