11-3-17 Vincennes District Forecast

Synopsis: Good Friday morning!  After some rainfall overnight, drier air will build in through the day today with drying conditions and some afternoon sunshine possible.  A warm and unsettled weekend ahead, with the main focus being the severe storm threat late Sunday.  We are looking at a few scattered showers to move across the area late tonight and through the day Saturday as a warm front lifts through the area.  Sunday features unseasonably warm temperatures.  There will be some dry time during the day, but we need to watch Sunday evening and night for severe storm potential.  Roughly the northern half of the district is under an enhanced risk for severe storms, with the southern half under the standard slight severe risk.  Large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes will be possible as a line of storms works through Sunday night.  Cooler air next week with a few rain chances into mid-week, but model guidance has trended drier from previous forecasts.  Details in the video below!
