11-27-17 Iowa & Nebraska Forecast: Mainly dry this week with above normal temperatures! N.

Today’s Iowa and Nebraska Video Forecast:

Expect dry and unseasonably warm conditions today!  Areas in the white circles could reach record highs today.  60s and 70s for many areas.  Partly sunny skies with southerly winds, gusting 20-30 mph.  

A front will move through the area tonight and Tuesday, leading to cooler temperatures tomorrow.  That said, it remains above normal for this time of year.  This front could bring a few spotty showers, but nothing significant expected.  Rainfall over the next 6-7 days remains rather lackluster, most areas less than a tenth inch of moisture this week.  

Just beyond this time-frame, it does appear the pattern may become MUCH more active.  This period of active weather looks to usher in a pattern change to much cooler temperatures as we get closer to mid-December.  This should lead to a more favorable pattern to see some wintry systems as well.  Check out our weeks 1 and 2 outlooks updated this morning:
