11-23-19 Tovar Dubuque: Latest thoughts on precip this weekend, discussing model trends for system next Tue-Wed.V.

Today’s Video:

Precipitation to our south looks to stay to our south today.  Here is a current look at the radar as of 9:48 CT.  This low pressure system is pivoting to the east and will bring the precipitation with it.  Does not look to be a concern for our areas.  Generally quiet weather is expected until our system next TUE into WED.

Here is a look at simulated radar from 12 PM Sunday through 1 AM Monday.  A weak of wave of precipitation will move mainly north of Stevens Point during this time.  Temperatures look to be above freezing as this passes and rainfall accumulations look to be extremely light.  This is of no concern.

Here is a look at simulated radar from 12 PM Tuesday through 12 PM Wednesday.  There are still some model differences on exact timing, strength, and location of this system.  Models are beginning to come into better agreement for this system.  We will have to fine tune exact details going forward.

A look at temps over the next 10 days:
