11-20-19 Kansas: Rain and wind today… potential snow on Friday. MG.

Kansas Video:

Simulated radar from 11 PM today through 11 PM tomorrow.

Here is a look at precipitation totals out through 11 PM tomorrow.

Here is a look at simulated radar from 3 PM Thursday through 6 PM Friday.  Temperatures will generally be above freezing across the southern half of the state.  Northern portions of the state look to be at or just slightly below freezing as the snow falls.  Temperatures widespread should reach above freezing into the afternoon which will limit accumulation potential.  Light salt/ treatment should limit any issues.

Here is a look at modeled snowfall amounts through 6 PM Friday.  Some of this will melt upon snowfall as temperatures will be above freezing, especially across southern portions of the state.  Colder temperatures are expected further to the west and to the north.

Here is a look at simulated radar from 12 AM TUE through 9 AM WED.  We need to keep an eye on this system as it could bring more snow this way.  We will have to fine tune as we get closer.
