Good Tuesday morning everyone! We have snow showers pushing through the northern portion of Minnesota this morning that will put down some additional light snowfall accumulations. Here’s a look at the current radar:
Here’s a look at the simulated radar throughout the day today for these snow showers. Most of the activity should push out of the state by about 3 or 4 PM CST.

We could see a few snow showers from Eastern ND to Central Minnesota mainly tomorrow morning. These will be very isolated with little to no snow accumulation:
Overnight tonight we’ll need to watch for areas of patchy freezing drizzle/mist where some low level saturation exists along the stationary frontal boundary.
We could also deal with some freezing drizzle/mist throughout the day tomorrow in the area outline below north of the stationary boundary:

We’ll need to carefully watch a system the second half of Friday and Friday night that could lead to some light rain chances perhaps mixing with some snow in NE Minnesota Saturday morning:
The system to watch will be a stronger system that looks to develop late Saturday and Sunday. Favoring southern portions of the area right now, but the trend on this system has been to make it stronger and further north. Here’s a look at the latest GFS simulated radar into Monday. We’ll need to carefully watch this system into this weekend for potential snowfall accumulation, but plenty of time for change remains:
