IN/IL video:
It’s possible along the I-70 corridor in central to eastern IN to OH this morning that we can see bouts of heavy wet snow falling, mix with rain at times. Temperatures will stay above freezing throughout the morning and start warming up into the mid/upper 30s so impacts to the surface are not expected, but a coating to an inch on grass/elevated surfaces will be possible:
Here’s the sim radar as we go throughout the day today…other than some wet snow showers mixing in across central OH, we will be dealing with on/off bouts of drizzle and light rain showers across southern IL, central/southern IN into OH and KY:
We do have some concern for a few slick spots tonight into Tuesday AM in the areas highlighted below with some lingering snow flurries/snow showers on and off (especially if you have zero tolerance lots we recommend keeping close eyes on this) and temps at or below freezing forecasted:
As we get past midnight Tuesday night into Wednesday morning we do expect another bout of snow showers influence by Lake Michigan and Lake Eerie across mainly northern IN into I-70 north locations across OH…accumulations should generally be <0.5″ with this, but our risk for slick spots are higher here given temps Wednesday morning will likely be in the upper 20s so please keep that in mind:
High temperatures over the next 4 days…an overall sunny Thanksgiving is expected Region-wide, warmer west and cooler east:
Low temperatures over the next 4 days…Tues/Wed AM need to watch for some slick spots:
Wind forecast over the next 4 days…staying generally light as high pressure settles in mid-week:
High/low temperatures over the next 10 days:
