11-17-17 Friday Vincennes District Forecast

Synopsis: Good Friday morning! Starting off the day with chilly temperatures across the area.  Enjoy the “calm” weather conditions this morning, because we have some very unsettled weather on the way! Clouds will increase through the day, but most of the daylight hours remain dry.  Expect scattered showers to increase this evening and overnight, along with winds becoming gusty with 30-40 mph gusts out of the south.  The first half of Saturday is mild and humid with scattered showers around, then the rain picks up during the afternoon with embedded thunderstorms possible.  We do have the risk for isolated severe storms, with the threat being localized damaging wind gusts 55-60 mph.  Widespread 35-45 mph gusts are looking likely during the day.  We clear the rain out Saturday night, with some sunshine by Sunday along with the winds gradually decreasing.  Highs will warm into the lower 60s on Saturday, but only top out in the upper 30s and low 40s Sunday.  More on the forecast for next week in the video as well.  Have a great day, and let us know if you have any questions!
