Good Evening!
Overnight data has slowed down our next wave of precipitation for data earlier today. Here is a look at a 6 – Panel of simulated radar from 6 AM through 11 AM.
Here is the loop of simulated radar from 5 AM through 1 PM.
Here is a look at temperatures from 6 AM through 11 AM. Notice that temperatures rise above the freezing mark around the 9 AM – 10 AM timeframe. Any precipitation before this time may have minor impacts. Light treatment would mitigate any impacts that can be seen. Precipitation should transition to mainly rain after 10 AM in areas south of Stevens Point. Any precipitation is expected to be on the lighter side. Notice that Stevens Point may continue to see a few snow flakes mix in but surface temperatures are expected to be above freezing which would limit accumulation. Temperatures look to dip back below freezing tomorrow night, and winds are not expected to be a large factor but could dry things out a bit. Any moisture that is still standing tomorrow night poses the risk for refreeze.
Low temperatures Sunday night/ Monday morning.
