Synopsis: Good Thursday morning! Dry weather returns to the area today as high pressure builds in. Temperatures will be cooler than normal. Friday has trended towards a dry day, as rain now looks to generally hold off until beyond sunset. It will turn warmer and windier as we go through Friday night and Saturday, with a strong cold front moving through Saturday afternoon. This will bring widespread showers and storms Saturday. There is a marginal risk for strong storms, with localized damaging wind gusts possible. Much cooler and drier air moves in on Sunday. Overall a quieter pattern for next week, with a brief warm-up followed by much cooler air for the middle of the week. Details in the video below.
