Illinois/Ohio:

Indiana:

Ice storm warnings in effect until noon today from central Indiana to western Ohio.  Winter weather advisories continue through this evening for most areas.

Forecast radar shows the dry slot working in across Indiana this morning, shutting off the steady precipitation from south to north.  A deformation band of moderate/heavy snow will persist across central Illinois through the morning, with mostly freezing rain/rain across Ohio and some sleet to the north.  As we progress into the afternoon and evening, colder air aloft can allow for a switch back to snow showers.  The deep moisture will be exiting most of Indiana, but there could be an additional band of snow to set-up over the eastern half of Indiana through western Ohio.  That can put down quick light accumulations.
