Forecast radar shows potential for a narrow band of snow showers to clip the far northern row of counties near Wisconsin after noon, through the afternoon and evening. This band is narrow and some data tries to keep this north in Wisconsin, so just a 20 mile shift can take this out of the state, so be sure to check back for updates. However, the solution below is what we are favoring right now – forecast radar from 11am today to 1am tonight shown below. Areas further south will see a few isolated flurries and snow showers, but impacts not expected for Chicago or the rest of north-central Illinois.
High pressure will be in charge Thursday through much of the weekend, meaning a dry stretch with no weather worries.
