Surface temps currently above freezing across the NE Chicago area currently, allowing for precipitation type to remain mostly just rain vs snow just west mixing in. We are anticipating this to wind down at 5-5:30amCT this morning. A few snowflakes mixing in can’t be ruled out, however, no significant impacts are expected here:
