10-27-17 Indiana short-term:

Synopsis: Good Friday afternoon! We time out the latest details in terms of the precipitation moving east along a cold front this afternoon. This will stay mostly an all rain event, occasional mixing of sleet at times will be possible as the front moves east. We still point out periods of bursts of wet snow will be possible across southeast Indiana during the predawn hours of Saturday. We do not expect anything to stick due to surface temps being too warm, but a few slick spots for a couple hours before daybreak will be possible (especially along bridges). A few flurries are possible later Saturday into Sunday as we filter in that cold air on the backside of the low pressure system before diminishing later on the day on Sunday. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out…have a blessed day! -Kirk
