This morning we continue to deal with light rain/snow showers across eastern SD and southern MN, pushing out of the area later this afternoon into this evening. Going forward in the short-term forecast there’s really not much precipitation to forecast here going into the weekend…a couple pockets of rain are possible across northern/eastern North Dakota and northern Minnesota late tonight into Saturday morning:
The second half of Saturday into Sunday morning some weak rain/snow showers are possible in a couple waves, one across southern SD and one across northern MN but more in the fashion of light snow (a few pockets of 0.5-1.5″ can’t be ruled out across northern MN):
Total precip next 60 hours showing many of us picking up little to no moisture even in these weak waves that move through…areas that see precip should expect ~0.05-0.15″ roughly, not much more:

Winds are overall going to be fairly gusty Region wide into early next week:
High temp guidance over the next 4 days:
Overnight low temp guidance for the next 4 mornings:
Dew point guidance:
Here’s how things are trending over the next 10 days…our well-targeted warm-up is still on-tap:
