A flash flood watch is currently in effect for much of us across the state. Here is a look at the current hazards.
Preferred rainfall amounts out through Sunday.
There is the potential for severe weather across southern portions of the state. Strong wind gust will be the primary threat but cannot rule out an isolated tornado. Greatest threat will be across southern counties but cannot rule out strong wind gust reaching as far north as St. Louis.
Here is a look at simulated radar from 12 PM today through 3 PM Saturday.
Here is a look at simulated radar from 3 PM Saturday through 12 AM Sunday. Right now, best timeframe to see some sort of wintry potential will be around 6 PM Saturday through 9 PM Saturday. It would be extremely light for the St. Louis area with warmer temperatures and breezy conditions, so pavement issues should be largely avoided.

Here is a look at the probabilities of receiving 3+” of snowfall from 51 different model members. Notice northern portions of the state have the highest chance of seeing accumulating snowfall. There are still some differences in the models so fine tuning will need to be done going forward. Right now, it looks like most of the accumulating snow will remain north of St. Louis.
