Today’s video:
We’ve mitigated some of the fog threat overnight due to a little bit more wind than our friends to the west…however, as we go throughout the morning we do expect to advect in some fog especially west/northwest as some winds relax…can’t rule out some patchy freezing fog/drizzle as well as temps linger near/slightly below freezing.
As we go throughout the overnight we continue to target another shot of light freezing drizzle to work southwest to northeast ~midnight to 11amEST…areas left untreated may become slick, be cautious traveling. Temps rebound late morning above freezing into the afternoon eventually into the 40s.
We continue to favor a big winter storm late Friday into Saturday to impact Ohio, the question is two-pronged: what is the strength of the low pressure system and where does it track. If it’s a strong low pressure system it’ll track further north and west and overall the majority of locations (except NW) will miss out on the snow, if it’s slightly weaker and south east a good portion of the state will see big-time accumulating snowfall. So we just need to fine-tune these small details as this evolves, we should have a good idea in the next day or 2.
