Synopsis: Good Sunday morning! No real major changes to the forecast issued last night, light snow continues to work east this morning right on schedule…enough to cause a few slick spots on surfaces left untreated. Some light freezing drizzle/mist possible still ~2-7pmEST with the main wave working east by 8pmEST across the LaPorte District bleeding east into the Ft. Wayne District by 9-10pmEST. By ~1-2amEST we expect things to start transitioning to moderate snowfall, eventually exiting east of the Ft. Wayne District by 8-9amEST Monday morning. Sub-surface temps 12-18″ deep will maintain in the 20s throughout this event so as cloud cover moves in this afternoon it’ll be very difficult to warm pavement above freezing, so no matter what precipitation type falls it’ll freeze on contact keeping surfaces slick. Let us know if you have any questions at all, we look to have our next update out likely late morning/early afternoon. -Kirk

We maintain this map here that we issued last night through Monday morning…up to 0.10″ of freezing rain will also be possible up north, given winds possible over 25mph this could cause issues for power outages…need to monitor closer:
