1-6-18 PM Northern INDOT District Update – Latest Details on mixed precip, timing & amounts. K.

Synopsis: Good Saturday evening! With the latest data currently rolling in we wanted to make sure everyone had the latest information of when the initial precipitation onsets, temps, winds, cloud-cover and ideas on accumulation amounts. We still feel between 7-10amEST an initial wave of light snow will work in from west to east…enough to maybe coat the ground and cause a few slick spots. Some light freezing drizzle will kind of linger ~2-8pmEST on and off before the main wave of freezing rain/mixing with snow at times works in 10pmEST Sunday west exiting east by 10amEST Monday. We still maintain the thoughts of their being a transition to all snow by ~1-2amEST that carries east through the duration of the event. We will have an additional update out with full analysis by 8amEST…we are always around for questions. Have a blessed and safe evening! -Kirk
