Synopsis: Good Friday afternoon! Forecast radar Sunday 7am to Monday 1pm EST.  A weak initial wave Sunday morning may bring in a few snow showers north of I-70 (especially Lafayette to Kokomo northward) which could put down a coating.  Precipitation will start to work in 4-7pm northwest, with the bulk of the precipitation moving in after 7pm across the state.  We target the main wave of moisture from 9pm Sunday to 7am Monday across the state.  This looks to fall as mostly freezing rain and sleet for central and southern Indiana, with just enough cold air moving in aloft to potentially switch things back to snow north of I-70 3am to 9am Monday.

Of course, the big factor will be surface temperatures.  Temperatures will be in the low to mid teens Sunday morning, warming to 27-31º as the main slug of moisture works in Sunday evening and night.  Temperatures slowly inch upward to around 33 in most of central/southern Indiana by daybreak Monday.  Temperature forecast loop from 7am Sunday to 1pm Monday:

Precipitation amounts with this system look to be around a quarter-inch for most of the state.
