Synopsis: Good Thursday morning. Reinforcing arctic air continues to spill into the region this morning, setting up for more frigid weather through Saturday night. A quick moving disturbance tracking across Illinois tonight may bring snow showers to portions of Gibson, Posey, and Vanderburgh counties with a quick coating of snow overnight into early Friday. Outside of that, expecting dry conditions. Eyeing a storm system late Sunday into Monday which looks to bring a variety of precipitation types. The concern is for freezing rain as warmer air moves in aloft over our very cold ground. We will need to watch this time-frame closely over the coming days. Have a great day, and let us know if you have any questions.
