Simulated radar guidance over the next 36 hours or so shows off and on light lake effect snow showers impacting locations west/south of Columbus as well has moderate to heavy continued lake effect snow showers near Cleveland and points to the northeast:

Here’s the area where we feel some light snow flurries to snow showers will be possible over the next 36 hours from northwestern parts of the state extending down to Columbus and points southwest…a few slick spots on surfaces left untreated will be possible:

Continue to keep a very watchful eye late Sunday into Monday for a winter storm to impact the state of Ohio more on a widespread scale…the toughest part is temps at the surface, but the latest few Euro runs do suggest some accumulating snowfall will be possible. The problem is we have lows below zero waking up Sunday morning, so anything that falls at the surface, especially if it’s not frozen precipitation, will potentially create very slick surfaces into Monday.
