Synopsis: Good Wednesday morning! Watching a disturbance that will move into the region today, bringing the risk for a few snow showers. An initial wave over Illinois will tend to fizzle out as it moves east this morning, then a better chance for snow showers in the Seymour district late afternoon into tonight. Not everyone will see these, but any snow that falls can put down a light coating in spots, so something to keep an eye on. Think the best chance will be from a Bloomington to Seymour line and points north. Reinforcing arctic air for late week, then we watch a storm system poised to move in Sunday through Monday. We still have low confidence on precipitation types/amounts, but the set-up features warmer air riding over our colder ground, which likely means rain will be involved. The question is how quickly can we warm the surface above freezing given how cold we have been recently. We need to keep an eye on this system as we get closer as much can still change.
