Simulated radar guidance as we go throughout the day today from 7 AM CT to 7 PM CT with each image being one hour. We expect the light snow to move out of the Ankeny/ Des Moines area in the next few hours with only little accumulation expected- details in the video:
Once again, the potential for some freezing drizzle exits as we go into the overnight and early morning hours of Thursday. Sim radar during this time shows the splotchy/ hit and miss nature of this drizzle/ light flurries. While we do not think everyone across the state will see this, the conditions are favorable for much of the area:
