Good Sunday Morning! Expecting mostly clear skies throughout the day today with clouds increasing as we move into the evening hours:
Continuing to eye the potential for snow showers to work into the area tonight and continue through Monday afternoon. Expecting the first precipitation to start between 9 and 10 tonight and there is the potential for some freezing drizzle to start things off tonight with some areas seeing surface temps at or below freezing. This could be a similar situation to what we experienced last weekend and something we will monitor and update on throughout the day. We anticipate some heavier bands of snow to set up due to lake effect. The majority of the snow is expected move out of the area by mid Monday afternoon with some lingering lake effect snow showers possible as winds gust up to 25 mph out of the north:
Temps will stay around freezing across the area through Monday. There is the potential for some areas to still be at or below freezing as the precipitation starts, possibly allowing for some freezing drizzle:
