Good Afternoon! Latest afternoon model guidance suggests that most locations across the Midwest are at risk of seeing a very light drizzle as we work into the overnight and early morning hours of our Tuesday. While there is a wide area spanning from IA to OH at play for this drizzle, we do not think everyone will see this drizzle and it will be more of a hit/miss case. In the image below, we favor the area circled in black to have a better shot at seeing drizzle vs flurries as the snow growth zone in the atmosphere does not look to be saturated. Temps across the area will be below freezing, so we still think it is worth monitoring pavement come Tue AM for iso slick spots. Latest data suggest we generally lose our low level saturation by ~9 AM ET and chances for drizzle would decrease from then on. Areas that currently have treatment down would have limited concerns of slick spots forming. Let us know if you have any questions!
