1-27-20 Indy DPW: Overall quiet weather and steady temps this week, discussing possible iso slick spots.V.

Good Monday Morning! Below is your latest forecast update:

Current temps as of 6 AM ET:

Sim radar as we work from 8 AM ET this morning through 8 PM ET tonight. As mentioned in the video, we think that there is enough passing upper level energy that we could see some very iso festive flurries/drizzle as we work into the late morning/early PM, but given temps 33-35 once we reach the ~Noon hour, impacts are looking extremely minimal:

The next couple days hold the potential for some iso slick spots as we look to hang around some upper level energy. Note how the Indy metro area looks to see those yellows/oranges around for much of this loop from this morning through Wednesday morning. This energy can squeeze out some very light flurries/drizzle, but impacts from anything would be isolated with overall chances on the low side. With that said, this is something that cannot be overlooked:

Total favored liquid precip out through Friday evening in inches:

Our next *potential* impactful system does not look to come until late week/early weekend, but we are still too far out for any concrete forecast thoughts:

Average temps across the region for the next 7 days will be running 5-10 degrees above normal for this time of year:
