Today’s Video:
Here’s a look at the simulated radar through noon tomorrow. Note, snow will continue to be rather light and splotchy across the state with a lull in precipitation especially as we work into this afternoon and evening. Another band will redevelop as we work into tomorrow morning that moves from south to north across the state:
As we work throughout the rest of the day today and into tomorrow temperatures will become very marginal and likely rise above freezing especially across southern and SE parts of the state. Further north, areas like Stevens Point mainly stay at or below freezing until mid-day tomorrow when much of the state rises at or above freezing.
Here’s a look at total snow (including some of what has fell this morning) through 12PM tomorrow. Note, not all of this will accumulate on the pavement given marginal temperatures especially in southern parts of the state tomorrow morning. Best chances to see pavement more than 1″ of pavement accumulations will be north closer to the Stevens Point/Juneau area.
A backside wave will likely develop late Friday into Saturday morning with some additional light accumulations possible for Central and Eastern parts of the state. Temperatures will again be marginal and precipitation will probably be on the lighter side so only anticipating additional snow of around 0.5 – 1.5″.
Temperatures from 12PM Friday through 12PM Sunday:
