Forecast radar through the next 24 hours….we are watching for lingering drizzle today which will be steadiest between now and 8pm. The drizzle may dissipate at times this evening into the overnight, but we likely see additional areas of mist/drizzle develop overnight through Wednesday morning. The mist threat will be with us into early afternoon Wednesday.
The concern will be the temperatures as they fall near to perhaps slightly below freezing overnight. The steady drizzle into the evening will tend to keep pavement wet. As temps fall to near 30 overnight, we need to monitor for freezing potential on some bridges and parking lots.
Winds will remain breezy into the evening, but diminish as we go through the night. Although the wind will tend to dry the pavement this evening, additional areas of mist overnight combined with decreasing wind will lead to the concerned for continued areas of moisture on the pavement.
