Good Wednesday Morning! Below is your latest forecast update:

Current air temps:

Cloud coverage today- high clouds will dominate much of the day today with more mid level clouds working into the area later in the afternoon (~4 PM). White/ 100 indicates cloud full clouds, black/0 indicates no clouds:

We are looking dry weather across the day today as our system is still back off to the west. Below is sim radar from Thursday Morning 7 AM ET through 5 PM ET. Each frame is 1 hour. While there may be a few very light flurries in the area tomorrow morning, we are not expecting precip to be an issue as most model guidance keeps this light pulse to the west of downtown. We look to stay dry as we go throughout the rest of our Thursday:

Sim radar from Thursday evening 7 PM ET through Friday afternoon 1 PM ET, again each frame is one hour. Thursday night into Friday looks to hold on and off scattered precip that will be coming in the form of rain thanks to temps never falling below freezing:

Below are snowfall totals from this system. Please make sure to watch the video because we are not anticipating any issues across downtown:

Current favored total liquid precip that will fall from this event:

Hourly temps from Thursday morning 7 AM through Saturday afternoon 1 PM- note how temps never really fall below 32 degrees:

After this late week system, we are looking at dry weather to start the week. Sim radar from Sunday morning through Tuesday:

The next best chance in the more medium range looks to come late next Tuesday into Wednesday. Once again temps look to be warm enough for the precip type to be primarily rain:

Temps averaged over the next 3-10 days will be running 5-10 degrees above normal for this time of year for much of the region:
