Here’s a look at the current radar. Hefty snowfall rates currently in portions of Southern Minnesota.
Blizzard conditions are ongoing in Southern Minnesota this afternoon. Wind gusts of up to 45 MPH are possible and snowfall rates of 1-2″/hour are likely in the areas outlined below:
Additional snowfall of 8-12″ is possible in areas that see the heaviest snow bands this afternoon and evening.
Here’s a look at the simulated radar through 3AM tonight. Snow will begin to diminish after dark.
Winds are sustained at 25-30 MPH in portions of Southern Minnesota this afternoon with wind gusts up to 45 MPH which will create drifting and blowing snow.
