Current simulated radar shows the 2nd line of rain starting to form in central Illinois around 8 pm ET/7pm CT. Wouldn’t rule out some isolated thunder as this second line crosses into Indiana. Lingering rain & snow showers may be possible on the backside of this system with the rain showers transitioning to snow. We do not anticipate any accumulation with these snow showers as surface temps will be warm and any snow that falls will melt shortly after hitting the ground. There is the possibility of a lingering rain/snow shower to occur Wednesday as this system continues to clear out of the area:
