Current look at radar + temps:
Sim radar over the next 6 hours. We think that CHI will continue to see wintry mix for the next several hours before precip begins to lighten around the 4 AM CT hour and is out of the area by the 5 AM hour:
Sim temps from 1 AM CT through Noon CT. CHI looks to work above freezing near the 5-6 AM CT hours:
We are watching some upper level energy on Sat working across the area that *could* produce some backside snow showers. This energy combined with crashing temps is a set up that can lead to producing snow showers that models dont pick up on, so this is something we will have to watch closely. More details on this will come in the next post video:
