Synopsis: Good Tuesday morning! Light snow showers continue to impact the area from mainly New Albany to Madison this morning. These area may see lingering light snow into mid-morning. Most areas have picked up a 2-4″ snowfall over the past 24 hours. Frigid weather expected today, with the risk of a few additional flurries or light snow showers to develop this afternoon (especially north). A few spots may see an additional dusting, but overall not looking like a big concern. Winds today will be westerly 5-15 mph. Once we get past today, the weather looks very quiet for mid and late week, with no additional precipitation concerns. Lots of sunshine is also expected. Temperatures remain well below freezing Wednesday, but by Thursday afternoon we should crack freezing in some locations. Temperatures will continue to warm into the weekend, with widespread 50s likely by Sunday. We may see a few showers move in Saturday, but the majority of the rain chances arrive Sunday into Monday as a potent storm system swings through the Great Lakes. More information in the video.
