Most of the area is under a wind chill advisory through noon central time Tuesday.  Wind chills 20-30 below likely.  

Northeast sections of Iowa will see additional snow showers work throughout the day into tonight.  Additional minor accumulations from Decorah to Dubuque down towards the Clinton area.

Strong arctic high pressure builds in tonight delivering very cold air. 

Temperatures will be brutal into mid-week, but warm in a big way Thursday and Friday.  Forecast loop of temperatures today through Friday afternoon:

A strong storm system is showing up in the data for next weekend.  This could bring a swath of accumulating snow for some, and rain for others.  Certainly a storm to keep an eye on as we go throughout this week.
