1-12-20 Ankeny PM: Freezing drizzle potential still remains for tomorrow morning. MG.

Here is the current look at the radar as of 8:58 PM.  Snowfall is coming to an end as this system pushes off to the northeast.

Models are still indicating that some patchy freezing drizzle, or perhaps freezing fog will be possible around your area tomorrow morning.  The image below show visibilities around the 5 AM timeframe.  The darker shaded are indicative of reduced visibilities, caused by drizzle or fog.

An important factor in the development of fog or drizzle is the lack of winds.  The image below shows the sustained winds around 4 AM.  Notice the lighter winds around your area.

Temperatures will be plenty cold enough during this time that any moisture could freeze on surfaces.  Here is a look at temperatures around 6 AM.

This is is a risk worth monitoring tomorrow morning for potential slick spots.
