Synopsis: Good Friday morning! Unfortunately today’s winter storm has turned into a nowcast forecasting situation as we are already seeing the transition from sleet to snow, as we were worried about yesterday, faster than previously anticipated. Winds will be consistently gusting at 30mph+ at times throughout the day keep things slick with blowing/drifting snow where it does accumulate. We do anticipate some sunshine to work in on Saturday with a skinny lake effect snow band traversing west to east throughout the day as well bringing light snowfall accumulations. Our eyes then turn to late Sunday into Monday for our next clipper system to drop down and bring our next shot for accumulating snowfall.
