Current watches and warnings across southern Illinois this morning. Winter storm warning will remain in effect for parts of southern Illinois through 9 pm CST tonight:
Current radar shows snow across parts of southern and eastern Illinois but some areas may be seeing some sleet mixed in with the snow. With temps aloft cooling as the front pushes east, the remaining precipitation will shift to all snow by 7 am CST:
Total snowfall accumulations are expected to be around 2 inches with locally higher amounts possible:
