1-11-18 Seymour/Vincennes District UPDATED winter storm forecast. N.

Synopsis: Good Thursday afternoon!  Expecting temperatures to fall below freezing in western sections of the Vincennes district by midnight CST, with the freezing rain threat commencing beyond that point.  This threat will push east as temperatures fall sharply during the pre-dawn hours Friday.  After 5am EST, the threat will shift into the western sections of the Seymour district, continuing to shift east into the entire Seymour district by 8-9am for eastern areas in the Seymour district.  The freezing rain will transition to sleet from west to east mid to late morning.  Snow changeover will commence in the 10am-1pm EST time-frame across the central, northern, and western sections of the area.  Beyond 2-3pm EST, it appears the entire area will have switched over to snow.  Snow will linger the longest across southeast Indiana, where the highest snowfall amounts are expected.  Details in the video.
