Model data weakened the the snowfall potential into on Saturday into Sunday. Here is a look at a side by side of the newer data vs. the older data from the early update around the 5 PM timeframe. We can clearly see that the data as shifted SE by quite a bit, now missing the SE counties of MN.
We are still eyeing some snowfall potential Sunday into early Monday. Here is a look at the latest simulated radar guidance from 8 AM Sunday morning through 12 AM Monday.
Keep in mind that confidence is lower than normal due to big model changes throughout today’s runs. Be sure to check back for future updates as newer data comes in. Here is a look at preferred snowfall totals out through 12 AM Monday. Most falls in the afternoon/ evening hours of Sunday.
