1-10-19 Northern Plains: A few scattered snow chances possible into the weekend. B.

Today’s Video:

Good Thursday morning everyone! We have a few snow showers that are struggling to reach the ground in N. MN this morning. A few flurries could continue into mid-day.

The main area to watch for some snow showers will be northeastern Minnesota as we work into late this evening and tomorrow. Initially we could see some light lake effect snow showers off of Lake Superior with isolated snow showers and flurries working into the arrowhead throughout tomorrow.

Note, flurries and an isolated snow shower are possible into Saturday for the Eastern Dakotas and Central Minnesota. Little to no accumulation expected.

We’ll need to watch for a few patchy areas of freezing fog risks tonight and tomorrow morning mainly in Western ND. The better chance for more widespread fog risks likely come tomorrow night and Saturday morning with some freezing drizzle also on the table.

Overall, most of the next 7 days will be fairly quiet with many seeing little to no precipitation:
