GREENWOOD, IN – BAM Weather (BAMWX.COM) announced today that it will be providing weather data and forecasts to the entire Iowa Department of Transportation, including all 6 of their transportation districts.

BAM Weather’s service for Iowa DOT will include its proprietary “PaveCast” data for winter related impacts on pavement and direct access to BAM’s expert team of meteorologists for decision making support.

“Plow operations, highway painting, patching, weed control, crew scheduling and safety, and other critical tasks all rely on accurate and accessible road weather tools,” said Iowa DOT RWIS Coordinater, Tina Greenfield. “We’re looking forward to working with BAM to support our staff, especially as we are currently preparing for another busy winter season.”
