7-31-19 Trenton Thunder: Targeting strong storm potential and timing for this evening B.

Today’s Video:

Good Wednesday morning everyone! We are going to have a busy day ahead of us with increasing storm chances as we push into the afternoon. Initially – especially after 2PM – we can start to develop scattered pop-up storms throughout the area. However, the coverage of storms likely expands after 5 PM with timing look like 6 – 9PM for widespread rain and storms throughout the area. Some of these can produce locally very heavy rainfall and some strong to severe wind gusts.

Precipitation totals like range from 0.5 – 1.25″ but there will be isolated totals of 2-3″ which given the ample atmospheric moisture is certainly on the table. For this reason Flash Flood Watches have been issued for the area:

We still think the storm risk is on the lower side tomorrow – with a very isolated chance tomorrow afternoon but the main coverage remaining south of the area. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out! Have a great day!
