Good Tuesday morning everyone. Overall, should be another dry day across the area with pop up showers/storms possible to the west, but we anticipate you to be fine for your game this evening. High temperatures today will once again get near record levels, with a forecast high of 97F which will take heat indices near or over 100F. Here’s a look at the latest 7 day outlook: 

There will be boundary to work in tomorrow morning mainly in the pre-dawn hours that could lead to some light showers or a storm over New Orleans. Here’s a look at the simulated radar from Midnight tonight to Noon tomorrow. 

This will likely allow us to have a gap in precipitation mid-day into the early afternoon tomorrow. However, as we build some instability in the afternoon we will increase the potential for rain and storms in the afternoon and evening hours in somewhat hit or miss nature. Thursday looks to be the day with the highest rain chances with solid rain chances all the way from Mid-Day into the overnight hours. Dry time on Thursday looks to be tough to come by at this point with additional rain likely on Friday – perhaps becoming a bit more scattered Friday evening:
