Total rainfall past 24 hours:

Wind forecast over the next 4 days: Breezy northwest winds today, gusting to 30mph in the northeast part of the state.

We target multiple rounds of storm chances this weekend.  A wave of showers and isolated storms looks to work in for our Friday evening, especially over the central part of the state.  We’ll have another wave come through Saturday morning into early afternoon, especially over the southern half of the state.  This could produce a isolated severe threat south late morning/early afternoon Saturday.  There will be a lull before additional storms develop to the north Saturday evening, then chances increase overnight across the area, highest chances in the northern half of the state.  The front hangs around Sunday with numerous scattered storms around, especially south of I-80 as it appears now.  The northwest counties may stay drier Sunday.  Scattered storms risk Monday looks to shift further southeast, then the front looks to lift back in late Tuesday-Wednesday increasing the threat again.  Here are how rainfall numbers stack up through early next week….many between 1-3″.
