Rain totals through tonight will be moderate to locally heavy for some locations in central and northern Illinois….many can receive 0.25″ to 0.75″ with localized 1″ totals.  Meanwhile, eastern and southeast locations will see the lowest amounts. Watch today’s video for more info on timing.  

Expect a mix of sun/clouds Thursday with 60s and breezy northwest winds.  April in June!  Friday, much of the day is dry, but the evening presents a widely scattered storm threat to sneak back in, as a warm front approaches.  Expect scattered storms this weekend, with widely scattered activity to start our Saturday, then a break before a cluster of storms can dive into the area Saturday evening/night.  Sunday, additional storms should flare up depending exactly where the front ends up stalling.  7-day rain numbers are very high, from 1.50″ to 3.50″!
