5-21-19 Dayton Dragons: Timing out scattered rain chances the next few days. B.

Today’s Video:

Today’s 5 Day Forecast:

Good Tuesday morning everyone! We are watching a weakening line of rain showers out to the west which could lead to some scattered, light rain activity later this morning. Here’s a look at the current radar:

Overall, with the line weakening the activity will be light and quite scattered, but can’t rule out a couple of isolated quick showers putting down a total of less than 0.05 -0.1″ especially between 10AM and 2 PM.

Total Precipitation Today:

Tomorrow morning a line of storms out to the west will be rapidly weakening as we push into the morning hours. Generally, these likely diminish prior to reaching the Dayton area, but we’ll need to keep a close eye on it given a weak low level jet. Into the afternoon hours as some instability builds we could see some scattered storm activity especially along and south of the Dayton area:

As we work into Thursday, we have to watch for the potential for a cluster of storms diving into the area the Thursday morning into mid-day.

As a boundary lingers over the area scattered storm chances are possible throughout the remainder of the day on Thursday. However, as we work into Friday and upper level ridge of high pressure will flex and lead to warmer and drier conditions across the area. Saturday looks to have rain chances as a boundary begins to sag south towards the area:

Total Rainfall through Saturday:
